Community input wanted for superintendent search process
You are invited to learn about the search for a new superintendent for Anoka-Hennepin School District and to provide input on the qualities you feel are important in the new leader of Minnesota's largest school district. Meetings are scheduled for:
Tuesday, Nov. 12, 7 p.m., Educational Service Center, Room 113, 2727 Ferry St. N, Anoka. (enter door 1)
Wednesday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m., Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy, 6100 109th Ave., Champlin
Information on the superintendent search process will be posted on the district website throughout the process.
Superintendent Dennis Carlson will retire at the end of June and the new superintendent will begin work on or before July 1.
Superintendent search survey open through Nov. 18
Community members are invited to participate in an online survey on the strengths, characteristics and skills they would like to see in a new superintendent for Anoka-Hennepin School District. The survey is available now through Nov. 18 in English, Spanish and Hmong.
The School Board will use input from the survey and from public meetings and focus group discussions as it evaluates superintendent candidates.
