MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

To help keep students and families, staff and the community updated on current mental health programming, Dr. Kumar will provide periodic mental health programming updates under "What's New."

Dr. Kumar's update 06/04/13
The district is in the process of securing a partnership with a mental health agency(s) for the provision of mental health services.

Effective September 2013, a partner mental health agency will provide prevention, early intervention, crisis management, screening, diagnostic assessment, individual and family therapy, mental health training, service coordination and consultation.

Dr. Nita Kumar,
Mental Health consultant




As the district's Mental Health consultant, Nita Kumar, PhD, LMFT and LPCC, provides oversite for mental health programming.

Her role is to design, implement, monitor and evaluate mental health programming for the district.
