What's new: Updates from Dr. Kumar
The 2013-14 school year has started and all 15 licensed mental health professionals are now located at the 14 district sites. To see a list of the sites, please view:
Any parent/guardian or school staff can make a referral. Students will only be seen for services at the 14 sites referenced above. You can make a referal by calling or emailing the mental health professional at one of the designated sites.
The Anoka-Hennepin School District has selected a mental health agency to serve in 14 district sites: Head Emotional Health Services.
The district is in the process of securing a partnership with a mental health agency(s) for the provision of mental health services.
Effective September 2013, a partner mental health agency will provide prevention, early intervention, crisis management, screening, diagnostic assessment, individual and family therapy, mental health training, service coordination and consultation.
